The military watch is being rebuilt rather than reissued. Benrus has extended its MILSPEC Type I and Type II lineage with the Type 3X, designed by the special-operations veterans who actually used the originals, and Panerai has revived a rare 1960s military model in an easier-to-wear size. What both keep is the point of the original: a legible dial, luminous markers, no complications to read past. A Hamilton Khaki does the same thing for a fraction of the money.
