No shoe gets reinterpreted as often. This season alone the Air Force 1 Low turned up in a fall leather with Campfire Orange trim, in blue ostrich for Travis Scott's US Open capsule, and rebuilt by Olympic skater Yuto Horigome with the mesh-and-leather construction of the 1982 original plus the padding a skate shoe needs. The constant is the shape: a chunky cupsole and encapsulated Air that nobody has managed to improve on.
