Printed illusions of things that are not there: a knot printed onto a dress, a striped scarf printed onto a T-shirt, a soccer motif printed onto a skirt. What separates the current run from earlier versions is that the trick is not hidden. The skirts state their own intentions rather than trying to fool anyone, which turns the technique into a joke shared with the viewer. Some designers are pushing it further, using it to make fabric read as skin.
